I don't understand how they'll get a fine for this when Chelsea got an outright transfer ban for tapping up Gael Kakuta a few years back.

I can see Morata at United next season. He's a quintessential Mourinho centre forward. I'll be surprised if it doesn't happen.

I'm also surprised they have been more heavily linked with Blaise Matuidi. He's a Mourinho player if ever I saw one. I also struggle to envisage Fabinho playing for him but they are in 'advanced talks' according to lot of different sources.

They seem to want Morata seriously. Reportedly 60m bid but Madrid wants 78m.

Yeah, sorry I mis-typed.

The only reason I can see Mourinho not being all over Matuidi is because he's already 30 years old. I don't think he's fit to lace someone like Essien's boot personally. Definitely not better on the ball either. He's a bit of a donkey, in my opinion, but he can run and run and run. He's a Mourinho midfielder for sure.

Fabinho, on the other hand, is not. Really hope they don't get him.
