Hard to imagine they'll buy and sell Draxler in the same year. A worrying sign for the Sanchez situation if they do I think.
Matuidi for 18m pounds is a really good deal for Juventus.
You have to admire the way they go about doing their business. Plugging holes in the squad everywhere with solid dependable experienced players that's good value, and add a few potential superstars for big money season after season.
Spurs signing Davinson Sanchez for 42m. Gullit said he's the best defender Ajax got since Jaap Stam, quite some praise.
Not really, how many good CB's have Ajax had in the last 10 years that made it? Not to mention Stam was hitting 34 when he was at Ajax.
42M for a 21 year old defender? Wow...
I dont see a problem. Spurs have done well here. Sold Kyle Walker for stupid money and signed Sanchez for less.
Didn't get what the big deal was in the UEFA Cup final.
Also , United are supposedly in for Lemar while we have not signed any player since Lacazette. Sanchez , Ox , Ozil all in their final year and we are sitting on our ass hoping they will change their minds instead of being proactive.
Hopefully Utd do end up getting Lemar.
Sanchez is a very good signing for spurs, expensive but probably worth it in this market.
Conte's reaction to Costa's interview:
So Costa has no "off" switch for his nutjob behavior?
Man City to activate Messi release clause?
No need, free next season!
Nasri gone to Turkey. He's grabbed himself two league winner's medals there, but really it's a massive waste of talent. He should have been one of Europe's dominant midfielders.
Wonder why a pl team didn't sign him. Hell, Monaco could do well with him.
His attitude is a big obstacle to his success. Very poor mentality in games as well.

He used to be a bit of a fighter for us. That spell at City really ruined him as a player.

Don't agree with that. When the going gets tough, he disappears in games and don't take responsibility at all.
Di Marzio claiming PSG have offered 140m euros plus Lucas for Mbappe and 80m euros for Fabinho. Other news sources are claiming PSG are in for both as well.

Yea absolutely. There were two, maybe three, games where he really took hold of a game.
I can remember West Brom and Fulham at home. But that's about it. Outside of that stretch of 5 or 6 games when he was in a bit of form, which unsurprisingly coincided with his last season here, he was consistently pretty fucken average. Obviously had talent but rarely used it to make a noticeable difference during games.
In saying that, i was actually quite fond of him.
lmao Monaco gonna sell everyone except Lemar
I thought Lemar was going to Y***ted.
To be fair everyone is for sale at the right price at Monaco, we just don't want to pay the price they want for Lemar.

Wasn't it said that Fabinho's release clause is like 40m? I remember lots of people just couldn't understand why no club was snatching him at such price. Or perhaps there was no release clause at all.
Sounds like Barca may not get Seri or Coutinho, they'll be more reliant on Messi than ever this season.

Release clauses are illegal in France, it's only a gentleman's agreement. According to RMC, Seri's reported 40m euro private release clause ended in July. (http://rmcsport.bfmtv.com/football/le-mercato-en-direct-les-infos-et-les-rumeurs-du-mardi-22-aout-1187.html)
Nice is also unhappy with Barca too!
Rumours that PSG have agreed a deal to loan Mbappe for the season and a requirement to buy for 140M next summer and Lucas going the other way.

I think the guys that run their club are even worse than our lot. At least we've not been very good in a long time, not that long ago their first XI was being talked as one of the greatest of all time!
They go through those cycles I guess. They were down in the dumps similarly in the early 2000s post Van Gaal (when Figo left for Real Madrid) and broke out of it with Rijkaard in 2005 and then Guardiola. No club has been dominant consistently - Real were similar for a while pre-Zidane (I think they won 1 La Liga in 10 years or something) - even their CL wins have only come in the last 2-3 years before which they were competing with Atletico.
WHY IN THE HELL ARE ARSENAL NOT ALL OVER AURIER?!?! £20M ONLY.

They won La Liga in 2007, 2008 and 2012. So not bad considering.

I like that our transfer strategy is now frustrating opposition fans.
Tottenham will do really well to sign Aurier if rumors are true.
