Haven't heard enough albums this year to offer a knowledgeable opinion, but from the albums I have heard, I'd say The War On Drugs albums is easily the best one I've heard this year. I hear Springsteen in them, obviously, Jo's dad hears Fleetwood Mac. I've even seen them compared to Neu!. Which does make some sense to me.
Other than that, it's the obvious usual suspects for me- like Metronomy and Robert Plant. Perturbator's album, Dangerous Days, which I mentioned a few weeks back is also excellent.
