It's all about Dolly Parton today.
Got to say that despite my reservations about going to see her she put on a great show when she played here, she's got great charisma and energy as a performer.
Loves to chat to the audience and tell stories.

Dj shadow touring with Cut Chemist in an ode to Afrikaa Bambataa, and they've pulled from his ₄₀,000 records! Should be a great tour and for an older act hopefully it will provoke something new and focused.

DJ Shadow is such a hit and miss live performer. Been crap the two times I've seen him.

They're still very, very good. Saw them play Doolittle in full a couple of years back and it sounded just like the album. Amazing that Frank Black's vocals are still strong after years of screaming. <3 Joey Santiago.

Saw the Breeders last year, that was also pretty brilliant.

They're great live. Berninger's quite the hard working showman.

Got complimentary tickets to a Nick Cave concert to be put on in November about a hundred yards from my house on the weekend. Pretty stoked.
