Really? I love Parklife (and bits of The Great Escape) but it's very difficult to top Blur and 13 as a pair of albums.

Wasn't sure where to post this: anyone with any experience of a Sonos Play 1? Been tempted for a little while now, but wondering how just the one would stack up in terms of sound/quality. Just looking for something for my living room so I don't have to listen to music through the awful Macbook speakers.

Saw Neutral Milk Hotel at the Roundhouse last night, brilliant. Everyone there was so happy, great atmosphere. Though I don't think I'll ever see more of a homogeneous pale white male audience at a gig in London...

I had to check myself when I was listening to the Bobby Womack album a few weeks back and realised she was singing, rather lovely, backing vocals on one of the tracks.

I'll give that a listen mate. Blue Jeans is another guilty pleasure of mine, and definitely one of the better pop songs of recent years. She intrigues me, even if a lot of her other stuff isn't up to much.

Any thoughts on 'Are We There'? Your Love Is Killing Me is the stand out track for me. Brilliant song. Very good album, and impressive on Jools last week.
