Lol, as the advert over here said for their greatest hits release, "You know more Crowded House songs than you think you do." I think how you feel is probably how most people feel about his work, it's not stuff that instantly hooks you. It's more insidious than that. I find his solo stuff a bit more rewarding these days, really looking forward to the new album next year.
