James- Abel was, for me anyway, the set highlight. When the song finished I went "Wooooooooooooooo!" right in some poor girl's ear'ole. She wasn't amused. Although I thought Start A War was a fantastic song to open a show with. Also, there was about fifteen minutes of sheer delight when they played Squalor Victoria (my highlight until Abel), Afraid of Everyone and Conversation 16.
You were right about the visuals, especially during Afraid of Everyone. We also got the acoustic Vanderlyle, which I recorded some of. Unfortunately I ruined that by singing along to bits of it. Oh, and I loved Wasps Nest.
I even got to correct a foreigner next to me. The last song before the band's entrance was Straight To Hell and as it came in, this poor girl next to me said to her mate, "Ah, MIA!". I turned around and immediately went "No, the Clash!"
