Just saw Bon Iver - finally get what this artist is about, but still not really my thing.

Sort of the anti-Malkmus. Can sing beautifully; can't be sarcastic.

I caught it at the richmix with a q&a with the director and producer; was pretty decent and the audience was immense.

It won't come as a surprise to some, but Death Cab are one of my favourite bands of all time y va. Brilliant live, too.

Bon Iver are/is at Latitude this summer. Lineup makes it a tempting substitute for Glasto.

There was a definite sense of being in the presence of The Falsetto. You don't really hear it so much on the studio recordings, but live, he really belts out note-perfect stuff in the soprano register at high volume. Quite an amazing vocal talent.

Yeah, and when you take his song writing into account as well, it's pretty clear he's a musical genius. This is a must-watch for any Bon Iver fan:

How much we thinking? Be around the £50 mark wont they?

I assume they're on sale at 9 tomorrow. No way am i missing out on this. Caribou supporting like they are on most Europe dates would be extremely nice.
