Finally gave it a listen, not really 'feeling' the album as a whole but two absolute bangers on there: 'Gotta Have It' and 'Murder to Excellence'; the beat change on the latter track is amazing.

Production is top notch, but I wasn't overly impressed with the emceeing on it. I'll have to listen to it a few more times to get a more concise opinion on it.

The production is top notch no doubt Kanye did his thing, but apart from one or two tracks, the album is basically this- a couple of stinkingly rich dudes rapping about their stinkingly rich lives. Not impressed.

Its amazing how you can still remember all the words to a song you haven't heard in many, many years isn't it.

Listening to old Pulp songs now because I'm going to see them live again next week. Last time I seen them was 96, maybe I'm getting old but its worth it for shit like this.

Also seeing Public Enemy again next week. A band I've been into since I was 12, thats almost 20 years of loving them. If this line up wasn't s good I'd probably be done with festivals.

Shall be seeing Pulp tomorrow at Reading. The National, Pulp and The Strokes. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday night.
