Well, I'm officially a Swiftie Dad. Saw Tay Tay on Sunday night with my wife and 2 adult daughters, and it was joyous. She really knows how to put on a show, and she doesn't scrimp either - 7.30-pm until 11pm and plays about 40-odd songs. She obviously works so hard but seems like she's having fun.
It's quite something to be part of an 83,000 person crowd shrieking with joy - the music wasn't the loudest I've heard, but the crowd reaction certainly was. I reckon 70,000 were women and about 78,000 knew every word to every song. It was like a massive karaoke party for most of the night. You couldn't help but be swept up in this tidal wave of love and joy. Whether or not you like her music, it was quite amazing.
And a mate - a 50 year old mate - made me a bracelet saying "Real Gooners Shake It Off". Wore it with pride.
