A man of culture I see!
There was a great Garner release called Nightconcert the other year; it's from a concert in Amsterdam in 64 I think. It contains a fantasic version of No More Shadows:
It was part of the Garner rerelease project that has been going on for a few years now where they aim to reprint as much as possible of his music in remastered versions. Garner famously eon a case against Columbia in the 50s which made him the first musician to own the rights to his own music, but it has also made a lot of his albums hard to find today since his own label was small and didn't do a lot of rereleases to keep the music in the loop. It's probably the biggest reason why he isn't more famous today.
There have been a ton of great Garner releases in the last two years in particular, some containing completely new material. I particularly loved Ready Take One. He swings so fucking hard on that one:
That record also contains the second coolest version I've heard of Caravan, right after the one Ellington recorded himself on Money Jungle. Garner basically replaces the bass player AND the drummer with his left hand, which is insane.
