First album is solid but The Fame Monster for me is her best by far, it's got everything you want in a pop record. Thats a legitimately great album. I don't know about the artpop album though, that was pretty whack.

That album was a lot of fun. They had the cover of C.R.E.A.M. on a film soundtrack, that's where I picked up on its existence. Makes sense since RZA's sampling and production on that album is basically minimalist lounge jazz …

Yeah, same. It can't be easy when you break through as a late teen or in your early twenties, and you have these people from the business around you telling you what's what.

Voluntarily is kind of a grey area. Have you read about the Kesha case? She was very packaged into something she didn't really want to become but you could call it voluntary because she signed a contract. What aspiring artist wont sign a contract though? Its a tricky situation.

Signing a contract doesn't really make it voluntary if the person is made to believe it's the only way they can really be successful.

ive been on a huge funk/soul kick lately. this whole album is fantastic.

Haven't heard that release in ages, great album especially the title track. Went to see him some seven or eight years ago, one of the best concerts I've been to although I'm starting to feel a bit old now ffs.

This guy was on the same tour and absolutely killed it
