love this jam (added a better version)
Good tune!
Funny should post DCFC Y Va. For no good reason, I haven't listened to it in ages, I have Your Heart is an Empty Room running in my head all day. So here's a lovely stripped back version of it
This kid gets the Australian suburbs.
Going to see probably my favourite artist/band live tonight
Recently and excellently used in the opening credits for Fargo.
Ghostpoet on Saturday night. Looking forward to it maaaaate!
I completely forgot about Ghostpoet. Are the latter releases as good as his first album?
Recently listening to the earlier Cat Power releases, Nude as the News is probably the best track she made in her career
Second album has it's moments, but a little disappointing. His latest release though, Shedding Skin, I think is superb. But then it's very clearly influenced, musically, by the likes of Joy Division and Massive Attack, so I would think that...

Speaking of which, I seen New Order live for the first time last night. Brilliant gig.
Must have listened to this album 150 times in my teens, but not at all for at least 10 years. Until the other day. Listened to it twice now, and it strikes me what a great fucking album it is. Every song is absolutely brilliant. This one is probably my favorite Springsteen song.

Well, after State Trooper, perhaps.
Love this album though, a masterpiece.

Really, really regretting not getting a ticket for Tuesdays gig at Brixton Academy.
Saw Alabama Shakes with Michael Kiwanuka supporting at Brixton Academy yesterday.
Not sure how to take that, I'm a fan of Massive Attack but don't really like Joy Division. I'll have a listen though, thanks for the recommendation.
Buying the SD2s was already worth it just listening to this album, incredible atmosphere.

What's not to like about Joy Division?!
Rarely been as happy at a gig as I was tonight. It was blissful, well played Ghostpoet, well played.
