Back when Dizzee made good music. Even if you don't like UK Grime, to create the full album by yourself (production and writing) and basically put the genre on the map aged 17 is mightily impressive.

He's still recording, still touring.
If you ever get the chance go see him live, hands down one of the best gigs I've ever been to.
He's probably my favourite male artist.

Still good is he? I stopped following him after that single from Blowback with the guy from Live.

The other big triphop names I've seen live were amazing, it's an incredibly dramatic style of music in a live setting.

He was my favourite musician on the planet for so long, but the Maxinquaye gigs left a very sour taste in the mouth.

Shame. Christiansands still one of the greatest songs ever recorded though.

Plus, Massive Attack one of the best live shows on the planet. Looking forward to seeing them prove that again next year.

Massive Attack were incredible live on the Mezzanine tour when they had Hope Sandoval in the travelling party. Mind-bogglingly good. Saw them in a massive field outside Perth and the gust off the speaker stack nearly blew my face off.

It was an ad for the Massive Attack tour that sparked my bout of listening to Blue Lines, when I hit 5 Man Army I jumped ship to a full on Tricky marathon.

I saw Tricky in 2009 in the Opera House in Cork, an under the radar tour, he was in stupendous form that night.

I've seen them more times than I can count now since 2003 and have never been disappointed by them. Safe From Harm live... It just doesn't get any better than that.

Have yet to see them live, and their 2 shows in Dublin in January are sold out.
