I think this Cup final result is ideal in terms of our potential transfer activity - not only in terms of being winners, but also in terms of the performance against the league winners.
That said I'd not want to look this gift horse in the mouth by taking the long way to securing our transfer targets, and would want our core business completed before we going into pre-season v Bayern & the Charity Shield.
IMO we should be going in hard & early to secure our targets to give a proactive posture as a club and to strike whilst the iron is hot. Do the business and then any potential bargain opportunity becomes the cherry on the top as opposed to our entire focus or strategy during the window.
We simply can not afford to squander any goodwill our success has garnered.
