England playing quite well actually except for Glen Johnson. He's playing rubbish.

Walcott was brilliant for our goal.

Denmark are quite good on the couter.

From the Soccernet commentary looks like our boys both had a hand in England's goal.

I'm glad that even though we do not have the most England players, we have the most exciting. Certainly, only 3 young England players really excite me - Wilshere, Walcott and Rooney, so kudos to Arsene.

Walcott created that goal for England. It was all his. Great work from the lad.

Agger just stomped on Wilshere's knee. I'm gonna get in my car, head down to Copenhagen and kill him if Jack has to be substituted. I'm not even kidding. I can probably make it in 50 minutes if I take the bridge.

We're playing 4-4-2 and Andy Townsend keeps saying that one of the midfielders has to drop in and mark eriksson. How bizarre.

What a great offside goal from Lampard. Walcott with the assist again. Almost a shame it wasn't given, even though it was a clear one.

First time I've really seen Eriksen, looks a player.

Parker and Barry on for Lamps and Wilshere.

I can't believe Capello actually played Jack as a defensive midfielder, let alone in a two-man midfield. He doesn't need a Wilshere for that kind of stuff.

There are three or four, but you're not supposed to talk about them. It scares them away. They're still wild and untamed.

Wilshere played like he usually does.

Sometimes this formation thing is overplayed.

You might have noticed that England didn't have a midfield in the first half.

They did. It wasn't particularly great but it was there.

The fashion nowadays is to pack your midfield with players. England didn't but they were quite fluid.

All the play originated from the flanks. Lampard was too far ahead and Wilshere too far back. It was a non-existent midfield. It didn't distribute the ball and it didn't mark players to any great effect. It was also bypassed with ease every single time Denmark got hold of the ball. Walcott was the most creative player in the first half which should tell you enough. Both Jack and Lamps are two of the top 5 midfielders in Premier League but they're pointless when you use them that way. Karl Henry and Scott Parker (who ironically is on the field for some reason right now) would've done a better job in at least one end.

The defence was too deep and made that particular problem bigger than it needed to be.

Definitely. It's a good lesson to people who keep saying that we should play with a low defensive line at Arsenal. It just creates unneccessary space between the team parts.

Nice goal by Young there.

He's an odd looking fellow.
