The beginning of the road to the title.

hull have taken points off pool and united in the last few weeks. this will likely be tense/tight/not much fun

And Marco Silva is an astute manager. He already gotten all 3 points in the emirates with some pub team.

Going to be a tough battle for sure.

We'll win, draw or lose.

We may, or may not play well.

Flostradamus.

A small, tiny part of me ('lol he probably means his penis') wants us to lose this. Not to put pressure on Wenger or anything, but the pain and misery feels better than the indifference of winning.

Time to overhaul of the formation.

Ozil must be dropped but Wenger will do the same thing and expect a different result.

Xhaka not back yet.

Chambo - Elneny - Ozil

Our confidence must be on the floor at the moment and I don't think we can prevent a goal so we need to play to our strengths. You can just see a massive decision leaving us a mountain to climb, like an early penalty, red card etc. When it rains it really pours with us and it's a 12:45 kick off.

They should/could have gotten something out of Chelsea too.

Cech

Bellerin-Mustafi-Kos-Gibss

Chambo - Elneny - Ozil

Lucas - Sanchez - Welbz

Play this please.

Thought Xhaka was back for this but because of his earlier red this season he gets a longer ban right?

In that case we need to drop all the players who've playing like shit, send a message that no one gets to just turn up when they feel like it.

Bellerin - Mustafi - Kos - Monreal

Lucas ---- Iwobi ---- Sanchez

Xhaka's banned for this one, yes. I think we should keep him on the bench when he gets back. Season's fucked either way now. Give the playing time to someone who doesn't have shit for brains, like Elneny.

Surely you'd play him to see if he's actually good enough before next season?

I'd be looking to replace Xhaka as an intended starter either way. I wouldn't want to gamble another season on him improving. If he does improve he can do so without costing us points on the field. I'm more curious right now to see if Elneny can become the player I think he's got potential to be.

Play them both I say. None of our players can defend anyway might as well have two players who can pass.

I'd like to see Elneny in Xhaka's position though, and Xhaka doesn't seem mobile enough to play a box to box role. I'd be up for trying him there though. Maybe it'd have a transformative effect on him.
