No, indeed you didn't say it.

You said you didn't see the point of them marching though - I gave you one reason as to why there was a point which you dismissed by defining what should be the priority for Irish women in terms of protest and diminishing what Trump is and represents by calling him a "creep" "across the ocean".

If that's all that he is then the reaction against him would not be so strong.

You see the creep, I see the abuser - I'm definitely not alone in that.

I love how Kelly-Anne Conway has branded their lies as 'alternative fact'. She's missing a 'to' in the middle of those two words.
Apparently in his speech at the CIA, he questioned how many of the audience had voted for him, in a non-partisan organisation, and then went on about how large his inauguration crowd was. I wonder what use a man who lives on alternative facts has for an intelligence agency.

That said, it's not all horror. Republican friends I talk to claim that they feel safer already. They say that this is the guy who will extinguish Isis.

The "perfomative" nature and the fact that it was Trump who provoked the reaction does not mean that women are not arsed about rights close to home.

I just don't see how Trump is a threat to the rights on women in Ireland or England. Like I say the women all around the states are spot on to rise up and try to show they won't let their rights be taken away. I just don't see the point in a March in Galway. Hopefully it might energise the women at it to go out and actually take part in Irish politics.

I don't see why you shouldn't protest wrongdoings just because they don't affect you personally.

Maybe this isn't the most important thing to discuss right now, but I can't help but wonder why they're all orange. Both Spicer and Kellyanne Conway have adopted the same skin tone as Trump. Is it like a bad spray-on tan that rubs off on everyone? Do they eat too much carrots? Is it just their goblin blood?

It's not, really, on the contrary. They are all just slacked off and just repeat the daily clips from news-which are already funny. Only Sam B and sometimes seth meyers working for me.

Slightly weird thing about that piece was that it was referring to lots of dynamics that have existed for a long, long time before Trump (not that he won't make many things worse) …

The executive orders he appears to be about to sign concerning Muslim immigration and the wall should frankly terrify progressive Europeans, as they will undoubtedly become a disgusting template for the aspirations of the populist right throughout the EU.
