Same here. We'd be better with a poor Jenks at RB than with Mustafi RB and Gabriel at CB.

Interested to see what Wenger goes for in midfield. The choices are less obvious than usual.

The Spurs game suggests there is a need to tinker but as you say its more likely Wenger will just go with the same side. He may rest Sanchez for Giroud. And he might start Ramsey, maybe its not that unlikley now that I think about it.

Swap Ozil with Ramsey and bench Jenks and you might be onto something.

Jenks is weak and error prone. He wouldn't still be at this club if we could find someone to take him off our hands.

Mourinho will have one tactic which is to run at our full backs at pace and it won't be long before we are all at sea. I don't want to read post match comments about Jenkinson this and that, he simply should not play if we harbour any intentions of getting anything out of the game. We have a long standing history under Wenger of capitulating once key players pick up injuires because he often insists on fielding weak replacements over a tactical re-shuffle even if the latter might be more pragmatic. 8-2 humiliation was a prime example. Jenks right back and Traore at left back, it was a suicide mission right from the start.

No mention of Iwobi - is anything wrong with him?

Though there's something good about having all of Coq, Xhaka and Ramsey,
I can't see ozil on the side, and I don't like Ramsey on the left. I can actually see Wenger playing him and Theo,
but although I didn't like Alex recently, and frankly I thought he should have been benched, I'd gamble on him for this one. Great time for him to play a big game, and I think we'll need something special from somewhere.

I just don't trust this team so much without Cazorla, particularly in games like this.

I don't know exactly how Alexis is, but I'd start him if there are no real health concerns. he's vital.

I'm a strong believer in playing Ozil out wide and 3 CMs in the big games but we both know it's not gonna happen.
I'd rather keep Mustafi at CB (no need to downgrade another position), it then becomes a choice between Jenks and Holding. I have gone for Jenks because of his experience, let's not forget he has put in quality displays at places like Anfield (against sterling) and Etihad before. He's not the ideal back up but we are not spoilt for choices at the moment.
