Not much hopes left for this window. Vidal, Toulalan, Inler, Alvarez, Lamela, Cavani, Jones, Young, Suarez is already gone. Hazard is not transferable, Pastore, Aguero, Benzema, Neymar is out of our price range, we are not linked with Montolivo, Banega, Subotic, Hummels, Kagawa. What is there left for me to wish?

Only Mata, Cahill and Nasri signing a new contract I suppose.

No shortage of players who are capable of playing the 'Arsenal type' of game.You must be blind not to see them.

For instance Vidal went for around 10 million bucks for god sake.Given went for peanuts.Around 14 million quid you could have solved your inexperience/depth in midfield and Goal- keeping.

I don't want to again repeat the names quoted in the above posts .Wenger's usual excuse of players not being there though he was ready to spend will not find many takers.

Valencia have placed a Not for sale board on Mata. So either they won't sell him or inflating his price out of our reach which is not too much.Hate to say it the umpteenth time only way Mata may come is if Nasri leaves.

I have faint hopes of a CB preferably cahill. let's see..

i cannot believe that the Emirates Cup is upon us and we have only Gerbilinho in the squad as a new face, while the Fabregas and Nasri situations persist. Downright remarkable.
If we have another season where we are destined for 4th, it'll just be further evidence of Wenger being, as Lagos likes to say, pennywise and pound foolish.

That´s not true though Cali. We also have Jenkinson, Henderson, Miyaichi, Frimpong and Afobe. Come to think of it, since we hardly saw them last season, Vito, Traore, Vermaelen and Ramsey are also like new faces...

Vela is pretty much a new face. As is Rosicky, I guess. Almunia could be starting again, so he too would be like a new face

Well he is better than Diaby and Denilson. Could go on to be real top class but considering we already have 2 midfielders at that age who are better I don't see the point. For anything under £10m it'd be a steal though.
