So many good midfielders available at the moment. Montolivo, Banega, Vidal. Dreaming of the day we replace Diaby Denilson Rosicky with those trio.

I know, one can't help but be greedy when you see 3 good midfielders with less than a year contract to go at low prices.

Well he wouldn't be 6th choice.

If we're honest with ourselves Cesc is gone if not this summer then next summer. Ramsey is Cesc's backup.

Vidal would compete with Jack and Song for the other starting midfield position. With no World Cup/Copa next summer Vidal can take a year to bed in to Englsih football. Then when Cesc pisses off to Barca he has a year in the Premier League under his belt and would most likely be ahead of Song in the pecking order as well as being able to cover the other central midfield positions. Giving us a middle three of:

--------Ramsey--------
----Jack-----Vidal------

Obviously it's never ever going to happen as Wenger would have to get rid of Diaby, who he has a crush on, but I can dream.
