I actually thought that myself, then I realised Lukaku probably has no clue how big Stamford Bridge is. Still, if it aint Chelsea, it'll be City, and they do have 50,000!

Going to Chelsea now would kill off his career nicely.

They have Torres, Drogba, Anelka, Sturridge and will possibly sign Aguero/Neymar.

A club of Tottenham's stature would be a good step for Lukaku. He'd get plenty of playing time, build up his reputation and then move to a top club.

Yeh, Ricky, was only kidding, wouldn't read anything into it. Think he's off to Chelsea, or at least that's what the buzz suggests.

I do indeed like the look of him - great combination of physicality and technique.

They surely won't sign Lukaku and Neymar/Aguero? At least I hope not.

We might actually end up with Sturridge if they do get Lukaku.

I think I predicted he'd be a crock at some point earlier, back on A-M. I'd be worried about stress on his hips, knees and ankles given his size.

Wow, that's out of the blue. I'm guessing they're paying top, top dollar which is why nobody else is bidding, Clrnc.

Still, I'll only fully believe it when it's a done deal.

Malaga could be making Manchester City-style hot air for now. If they aren't, I will be PISSED OFF that we are not mentioned as a player in the Toulalan stakes. It does beg the question though, with teams like United and Milan in need of midfielders, why would Toulalan be going to Malaga. Is he a bit rubbish?

Why Malaga when there are other bigger, higher profile clubs in the market for a MF player?
