Theo has been good - very efficient and very useful - over the past year when available. He's miles better than Aaron Lennon. Fact.
He'll probably get better as well. I've been happy with him and I want him kept and cherished.
As far as our major signings go they need to be first XI players if we are going to improve in the short term. Guys who are going to put in 30+ starts and run out with confidence in massive games and with concentration and professionalism in the lesser games.
Now we can sign other players and that may well be fine and dandy, but if they're not ready to start regularly, or they can't be relied on at the top table of European and PL football, then it's blatantly clear that we won't be a better side in those situations.
We've got a half decent crop of players and it's time to play the short game. I just hope Wenger realises that.
