I love Banega Dules, but it took him about 3 years to adapt to Spain. Not sure if he'd ever settle well in England. For the money he'd cost I dont think it's a risk worth taking.

For me that's because our midfield is a complete and utter disaster zone. Not so much the players, but the whole structure of it. Cesc's role, the roles of the two wide men - I don't think it's a good way ti set out team up at all.

I think his close control is amazing, but his passing frustrates the hell out of me. Sometimes brilliant, sometimes awful, always overly ambitious.

I agree about Banega as a player. For me he's the most skillful central midfielder in the world and at 22 he's only going to get better.

He's Argentinian right. He might not be willing to turn down the chance to play alongside Messi or Higuain in the future. Also those South Americans love playing in Spain. Definitely more so that England.

Just watched Lille play, 1-1, 92nd minute, need to win to stay top, Hazard slams home the one chance he got all game. We've got to get this boy in the summer.

i love arshavin, but i think this summer will be the last chance to offload whilst recouping decent money - maybe time to cash in and get that hazard boy.

arsene mentioned he's on the radar and if we are in a position to splash in wengers mind, i'm sure he'll go for him

We started that list about 3 months ago. In order of urgency it goes a lil something like this:

Rosicky, Denilson, Almunia, Bendtner, Eboue, Chamakh, Diaby

Denilson - really is a lump who has not improved since he was a school boy in Brazil.
Rosicky l- ooks like the winner of Who Wants to be a Premier League Baller?
Chamakh - is so dependent on hard work to be effective, and he hasn;t lifted a finger since Xmas
Almunia - good enough to be third choice but brings a bad smell
Koscielny - the new Senderos. Replace with Subotic / Hummels / Cahill
Squillaci - the new Cygan. Replace with Bartley
Diaby - a great athlete cut down to size by injuries and a malfunctioning brain
Bendnter - is not good enough but might fetch a ton of money from a misdirected manager.
Eboue - a clown. we need people who are serious at the club.
