Wenger has screwed us since summer, really, because the one signing we desperately need - a brilliant striker - would have to come at the expense of the starting place of either one of his two summer forward signings or our new highest earner.

Giroud to the bench at the expense of someone like Balotelli would be somewhat logical but I just can't see Wenger doing it.

What on earth is Wenger really waiting for?! It is not like we are Barcelona or Real Madrid where there genuinely only are a select few players around who would really strengthen the team. There are at least 100 players in 'smaller' teams across Europe alone who would immediately bring something to us.

We need an exceptional player in attack, it's the only way we're going to start winning games consistently and regaining ground on Spurs.
A player who can pounce on a half chance, create his own momentum and make something out of nothing.
Those players are rare enough. Not that we're really looking at that kind of quality.

Jovetic, villa, Lewandowski, wanyama, banega, soriano, mbiwa, cabella, hernanes, llorente, el shawaary, michu, ananidze, schurrle and Fellaini. All of whom are attainable

If Wenger does not sign anyone this window it would be worse than the below, his biggest transfer crimes against Arsenal.

Previous transer crimes against Arsenal:

-Not signing Vieria's replacement in 2005 (not going to even mention not replacing Edu in same summer).

-Not signing a winger in summer of 2007. Had we signed Ribery we would not have to see Eboue on the wing every other game.

-Not signing Anelka in Jan 2008. Would have won us the league.

-Not replacing Flamini in summer of 2008. Not signing Alonso in same summer. This decision basically cost us the season.

-Not signing a goalkeeper in summer's of 2009 and 2010.

-Not signing a proper 'Cesc replacement' in summer of 2011.

-Not signing a striker and a dmc in summer of 2012.

When you look at the above you see how much of a liabilty Wenger is. And just how clueless he is, pisses me off!!!

Bruno is a good player, naturally does the kind of job we've been asking Arteta to do. Not sure if he's exactly what we need, but I wouldn't say no.
