Just a gut feeling but I think Zaha is nailed on for Utd. Wouldn't be surprised if they've already agreed to take him in the summer, leaving him the rest of the season to get Palace promoted.

Not massively, I think a midfield dynamo will help alot and can't see us making additions in the defensive line for now.

Going forward, we need a right back and maybe a centre-half in summer.

I agree. Problem is Wenger doesn't see Podolski as a CF weirdly enough.

Its criminal the amount of top class players available in the market that we are not trying for.

i dont think anyone really knows what position he is. he sort of vaguely plays near the front, a bit to the left, and if a ball falls on his left foot, he scores.

He also can pick a pass or a cross reasonably well. Not brilliant, but good enough to set up a reasonable number of goals each season.

He plays well, just doesn't get involved in the game often enough - which hopefully will come in time.

podolski would be a good choice for left wing, if we had a right winger who would contribute more to our build up play.

Podolski is a wide forward in the mold of Ronaldo, and yet (not surprisingly) he's asked to do too much here.....much like Arshavin was. This stems from our LB and CM's inability to defend properly as it requires our WF's to provide support.
