I would consider Ramsey to be a bit of a risk if he was a first choice player, but at this point it looks likely that Song, Wilshere and Fabregas will be our first choice midfield trio next year.

No, not for me.
Not for me either. I really think we need a quality alternate to Song, moreso than we do Cesc. Song's part of our core strength, Cesc is a positive potential.
When Song's out at the moment it's quite a gulf to Denilson or Diaby, who are each in their differing ways a fairly big liability relative to Alex, just as Frimpong would be.
I wouldn't mind a bit of experience and intelligence either. Too many of our midfield players are lacking one or more of the faculties of temperament, endeavour and common sense.
With Cesc out it's true we lack creativity, but I'd rather see that rectified by us signing another natural striker, so that we can move away a bit from "creating" goals and just start scoring them.
