Demba ba would be a steal at that price, we need to move quickly, he is different to giroud in that he has pace and power, can take set peices, isnt just a target man and can dribble with the ball and is proven to get at least 20 goals a season in the pl. In a 442 with the options of giroud, podolski and ba.

Think the main thing he has over Giroud is he actually has good technique with his feet & is decent outside the box.. He isnt the in top x 3 bracket but a striker of that calibar would cost 30m which means out of our price range.

Big thing for me is that he is proven in the Prem so can hit the ground running... we dont have time to bed players in right now thats why I hope go for Fellaini aswell

Girouffe is a limited player that we won't be looking to move on any time soon. I think he would be an excellent back up striker for us.
I'd like us to sign someone with more in his locker than what Ba offers. He is a good player no doubt, but I wouldn't want him as our main striker any more than I want Eeyore to be. IMO we need someone different. And better.

Don't think Giroud is much good as a backup striker myself. Either he'll turn into a first-choice striker, which is what Wenger seems to think, or he'll regress at the same rate as his playing time. He's not the kind of guy who comes off the bench and scores a few goals when the chips are down. In theory it's good to have players like him around. In reality they become useless after half a season on the bench.

If Diaby ever gets even close to full fitness again we need to cash in. I don't care if the transfer window is open or not. Make sure to trash out the deal with some poor sods well before the registration opens. He'll be their problem after that. PSG don't care about wasting money. They might be interested on the off chance that he actually gets fit again.

Diaby is a waste of time. We need to dump him as soon as he can. I have always been a big fan of his talent, but we are not rich enough to be carrying the Roque Santa Cruzes and Michael Owens of this world. Diaby, Rosicky, etc need to be dumped soon.

First order of business is to resign Theo, but that ship has sailed, I think. Second order would be to then buy prem proven Ba and Fellaini to help us climb up the table as soon as possible, with the added bonus of directly weakening a top 4 rival (and maybe a Zaha type if Wenger feels necessary):

Ba is 7.5m & Fellaini would be 20m max dont think that is unreasonable even if we dont cash in on Feo. Both look like they would push for a move if we went in with a bid..

I said that Theo won't resign, so I've excluded him. We need to keep the ball better in the final third, so I'd move Jack at RW, where he can play a quasi-wing playmaker role à la Hleb 07/08.

But if Theo should resign, I'd keep him on the wing (heh) for this season at least, then we can re-evaluate our options by season's end. 1 consistent goal scorer and 1 strong midfielder to help us win the ball is the bare minimum, though. Oh, and Titi!

Ba will be cheap given his release clause, and Moyes will sell Marouane by the 31st if we actually offer what he's worth (in terms of market value).

I think Jack and Santi in the that attack together is something we should definitely try at least.

Ba would be a great signing, can play cf but has played plenty at LW too for Newcastle. If his buyout clause is true we'd be mad not to. Proven PL player at a great price in a position where we are seriously short.

I'm just afraid that the second we sign Ba his knees will give out again.

We have no luck with injuries so I would rather not sign a striker with an injury history like Ba's.

I think for what Fellaini would cost you could go better in the deep midfield ball winner role. His passing just isn't good enough. His best form at Everton has come in a more advanced position and theres no way we'd play him as far forward.
