think we have to accept players like fellaini and ben arfa will go to bigger clubs than us - most of them will choose united, chelsea, city over us or we wont be willing to stump up the cash

our transfer policy licks balls - we shouldnt have frittered away 20m on podolski and giroud. we should have just lashed 20 on a genuine top class player

I've said this before but I don't like Fellaini much. This season is his first really good one since 08–09, and he's only played central midfield for a handful of games because Moyes keep switching him around. Charmismatic player but not one you'd spend significant money on. Maybe in a few years if keeps developing.

All Fellaini and Ben Arfa would do is make us slightly more secure for 4th. Waste of £40m unless it's the prelude to buying even better players.

A new front three... Isco, Llorente and Navas.

Isco apparently has a 21€M buyout clause, while Llorente should be cheap enough considering his contract situation. No idea what Navas would cost, but I imagine he should be within our price range.

We should really go for Llorente in January. Him, Jovetic and a capable LB option and getting Walcott to sign would be my wish list right now. Walcott extending and Jovetic would be my top priority out of those I guess.

Feel ok with our goalkeeping situation, feel ok with RB options, Feel ok with our CB options, and feel we have enough quality to make our central midfield work well enough soonish.

I doubt I'll ever come to think of Giroud as a capable starter, and we need at least one more quality player for our wing forward positions.

If Isco has a buyout clause, we should activate it ASAP before other clubs move in for him. Hopefully Cazorla talks him into a move here.

Bloke has brilliant potential but £20 million is a lot of money for a player in a position where we're fairly well-stocked. Llorente would be a much more important player at the moment.

I love Llorente, on a cheap signing for Jan would be brilliant. But then again I think he is too similar to Giroud. He is an upgrade but Isco's potential makes me think otherwise about the priorities. Isco is a genuine top class player mould.

Striker wise, some one with different style would be good. Jovetic? Lewandowski is on sale as well according to Dortmund, but won't be cheap. I wouldn't mind Adrian Lopez too

Llorente is a little bit similar to Giroud in style, but not quality. Far superior player. Giroud is not good enough at the moment. We need a better striker. Someone who can be depended on for 50 games rather than someone who comes on now and then and scores the odd header.

After today's game whats your opinion now? Should we still get a similar type of player or another kind of striker?

We should still get a better player than Giroud.

No chance of getting fellaini. Will cost 20 mill + top wages. Wanyama for example would be more plausible with a 10 mill tag plus comparitively lower wages.

Though i'd take fellaini and not just for his attitude/mentality.
