Technically Arteta is our only central midfielder. It's just a semantic difference though. The point is that you need three players centrally in the field if you want to play the ball centrally. The dragging striker could complete the triangle but in this scenario you'd just swap Cazorla for Podolski. Spells disaster to me. You could build a team with ball-carriers too but I wouldn't put Cazorla and Ben Arfa in it in that case.

I was going to include some a new pair of fullbacks but it seemed a bit too unrealistic with Cavani there too 😆
I'd like to see Arsenal use it sometime though, Wigan have been getting the best out of it considering the squad they have.
We'd need a couple of new CBs too - for depth, if nothing else
