Also linked with Tiote today. After Wenger's comments on Friday we will be linked with every good central midfielder.
£20m on Tiote would be a waste. He's a good defensive mid, and he'd do a job for us, but for that money we should be doing better. Would much rather Cabaye and let Arteta continue to play as the deepest midfielder.
There simply aren't any defensive midfielders out there worth signing at the minute - the only one I like the look of seems to cost €40m!

There are plenty of players we can sign. It's a worry that there is no ready replacement for Arteta in the squad; that's usually a defensive midfielder or rather a 'screening' player. It's not going to work without one.

Dembele and Cabaye look like sound b2b options at the moment. Just a shame that both would cost around what Song costs, possibly more, and are not particulary better. We'd save on wages though, probably.
