Sociedad bigwigs are supposed to be flying in this week to thrash out a deal for Vela, so hopefully that'll be him gone.

I can see at least 3 of those being pretty damn difficult to shift come summer time. I just remember us saying how x, y and z were as good as gone this time last year, and it didn't work out that way.

I think we'll keep Lansbury and Park of that lot. Probably Mannone too. Almunia and Benayoun only have a few months left on their deals to they're a non-issue.

Squillaci is currently 5th choice so him leaving is neither here nor there. The midfield looks set to me too. Coquelin is coming on strong, we signed Arteta last summer and Rosicky just got a new contract. There's Wilshere coming back too.

Up front is where we're a bit short but Podolski will sort most of that out. Depending on how many players we let go there might be room for one more signing, but half of the squd places that are made available by people leaving will be filled instantly by others who no longer count as <U21 players.

isnt almunia fabianski squialci and benayouns contracts up this summer? lansbury and mannone i wont mind keeping and park has only been here a season cant see him leaving, and i dont mind if we keep or sell arshavin diaby or djourou. Denilson chamakh bendtner vela need to be gone already and will be the hardest to sell.

Ricky's list seems about right, could maybe add in a few reserves.

I think its vital we get them out no matter what. Guys like Squillaci may be irrelevant but he's still taking up one of the 25 spots and on decent wages. If we can't offload the dross, loan them out until their contracts run out.

The only person I wouldn't mind seeing in an Arsenal shirt next season is Lansbury but i reckon we'll cash in. Oh and Fabianski too actually but i'm not fussed, let him go and bring in an experienced back-up with Martinez as no 3.

Yes, but on loan for another season.

Looking at Transfermarkt, which is usually reliable, it seems you might be right. According to Arsenal.com he signed a new "long-term" contract in 2009.

It's either this one or next summer. Can't remember exactly but I think he'll want to leave either way.

I reckon we'll lose three keepers this summer. We'll definitely have to bring one in. I can't see us going for the young kid at Birmingham, Jack Butland - Martinez is about the same age and looks a great prospect. Not sure whether Schwarzer would still want to come or is still physically capable at this level?

Schwarzer signed a new deal with Fulham this season so we can probably forget about him.

What do people think about Junior Hoilett? He looks to me like he might turn into a special player if he keeps developing. He's out of contract with Blackburn this summer.

I'd llike to see us sign Hoilett, he's obviously talented, is available on a free and would give us great depth out wide. (Theo, Ox, Gervinho, Ryo, Hoilett, and maybe Podolski)

Also think it would be amazing if we signed Del Piero, purely so I could have a Del Piero Arsenal jersey.
