The more I think about Gervinho / Walcott / Arshavin, the more I believe we need to seriously upgrade, especially if we are to ensure that van Persie does not become overwhelmed in his position as central striker. These guys are doing too little to take the pressure of him and consistently create / score goals on their own. I think we should dump one of them, and bring in two better wide attackers.
2 guys like Podolski and Hazard could set us back 40m. Getting 15m for Gervinho/Arshavin would compensate slightly financially, but I think the rewards would far outweigh the 25m pound or so net spend. We don't look like the Arsenal anymore with these witless, blunt wide men.
