For those numbers, I'd definitely take him. His approach play is still excellent. He brings his wide men into the game and creates chances for them. He can play. There's just something seriously off in his head when he has to shoot.

Torres' approach play, relative to his other attributes, has always been a let down. Probably why he never shone for the NT to the same degree that he did for Liverpool.

I wouldn't take him for 2m and 20k.

I dunno about Torres. Even when he was scoring goals at Liverpool and being hailed as one of the best strikers in the world, he still rarely looked like he was in control of the ball other than when he was shooting.

These days he's just embarrassing to watch.

I don´t understand that either. Haven´t thought too much about it with Torres, but it really is the same thing with Rosicky isn´t it? He used to have a very good shooting technique, and he usually hit the ball cleanly. These days he literally seems unable to hit a football cleanly and with power. Such a strange thing to lose!

Nah. Arshavin still has the technique. He has lost that extra bit of speed though that puts him in good spots and gets him that extra bit of time to line up his shot properly. Even saw a few of the players in the Swap Shop series at Arsenal Player wanting to have Arshavin´s shooting ability.

For me, that would have made him the perfect van Persie back-up last summer. Whether he would have been willing to cut his number of games a season in half in exchange for the chance to play in the San Siro or Westfalenstadion, I don't know.

I definitely think he's a very good player though.
