where do you guys stand on torres? if it were possible to get him at a cut rate, say 15m and 100k/week, would you be for that? injuries have slowed him down, but he's still only 27.

He's struggled with form and fitness since before WC 2010, plus he'd have to be nursed back to form. Why bother? I don't think he's necessarily done as a footballer but he'll benefit from going under the radar for a while in another country. I doubt he'll ever be as good, 1000 minutes without a goal is a shocking stat.

I'd still take Torres, its a big risk but its the sort of risk we'll have to take if we want to climb back to the top.

For how much though? I dont mind Torres much, however, Main problem will be Chelsea's asking price. Can't see them offloading for less than 20 mill. Wenger would rather die than sanction that kind of amount.

But why go for Torres when there are better strikers around anyway? He's better than the form he's showing at the moment but it's pretty damn unlikely that he'll ever revert back to the Torres of old, he's lost too much. For his sake, he'll improve and be a decent striker capable of getting a few goals but there are similar, cheaper options?

For those numbers, I'd definitely take him. His approach play is still excellent. He brings his wide men into the game and creates chances for them. He can play. There's just something seriously off in his head when he has to shoot.

Torres - no.
He's scored more goals against Chelsea than he has for them.
I actually think he'd be better off back in Spain at a club far from the spotlight.
He might have more hope of regaining some of his former goalscoring touch there.
