If the situation is anything like other countries, his reforms will spur growth. Trouble is in a decade or two the adrenalin will be spent, the right to strike will be gone, and social payments will be targeted below the poverty line. The concessional attitude of Blairs and Macrons to rent-seeking corporations is unbalanced over time.
I guess for all the aforementioned reasons (demise of the nation state etc) it will be different for France than other countries.
