Chelsea are unbeaten in league games against Arsenal since October 2011. Since that 5-3 victory we've scored just 2 goals against them in the last 9 league games and 0 in the last 6 league games.

The team will be the same as Hull.

Thats my team. Think Wenger might go with Sanchez up top and Iwobi left. Really hope he doesn't start Caz in this one. Its just not the game for him.

Me too, and I say that as a fan. I think we need the presence of Xhaka, and though I'm not expecting him to score, his goals will no doubt have given him confidence going into it. I'm sure he's not lacking in confidence anyway, but scoring a couple in your early appearances is certainly a boost to both him and the team, and will be in the back of Chelsea's mind too.

I'd be happy with that front three given Walcott's recent form and Iwobi's tendency to switch off defensively.

If we were ever gonna use a more solid midfield pair from the option we have now surely its in a game where our record is as bad as G89 showed in that first post. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see Wenger just play the same team as last week though.

we will go with last week's team for sure. Wenger loves Cazorla. so he will start. and Wenger loves Sanchez at 9. so Walcott + 1 will start, probably Iwobi.

That front four would not work IMO. Plus Iwobi has to start as he is in form and even more importantly Ozil isn't.

For this game, I would stick with

i just hope Mustafi has received the docket on Costa. last thing we need is for one of his typical controversies. the man has 5 goals in 5 games, and he should've been sent off at least once. so he's both prolific and full of fortune.

from watching the Leicester extra time last night, it looked like Chelsea were moving very well. lots of interchanges around the box, players moving in all directions. we'll need to ensure that Kos and Mus are much better coordinated than their last two games to ensure we are picking up runners. else Hazard and Will.i.an could kill us.

I'd stick with Sanchez up top for now, give Perez some more time to settle in. I'd play Xhaka in midfield over Santi.

Yes Ozil is easily our best player but it's imperative we go 3 in the middle against this lot and Ozil is not in good enough form to play ahead of Iwobi or Theo on the wings

I'd do away with a nr 10 and have 3 CMs operating in close proximity to each other. Don't want to see too many players caught ahead of the ball, that's how the Chavs have repeatedly destroyed us in the past

I totally understand your reasoning but my issue is Cazorla being a passenger, when played deep, as Chelsea play with strong ball carriers in Hazard and Willian and we are never going to be able to match them by going like for like.
I also don't think Cazorla is a better number 10 than Ozil but he looks in better physical condition as he had a full pre-season.
If given the choice i would play Ozil over him but sub him off for Cazorla after an hour if he is ineffectual.
