Is it me or do a lot of YouTube links come back with an error? I don't know if it is YouTube blocking this or a problem on the forum? The links show Error 153

JazzG I've started noticing this too.

Could be an outdated YouTube embed API is in use in the Flarum plugin that converts the links in post content to media. Or it could be some hinky new setting YouTube creators are using to try to monetise more, or differently.

Yeah, noticed that yesterday. The same video at times shows as a playable video and at other times shows the error.

I think its youtube. Film torrent site I've been on for years has youtube trailers for all their films and they've gone down recently and require a click through.

Big Willie I use many forms of piracy but nothing beats the reliability of having your own library. Plus communities like the one I use has a depth of content you won't get anywhere else.

It's the only way. With the way everything has been divvied up by multiple providers, it's just a price gouge. I pay for the ability to pirate, and if everything were in 1 or 2 places I'd probably pay a real provider. As it is, it's just not worth the hassle signing up to 5 or more different services just to watch stuff.

I hear you. I have netflix because some family members struggle with the pirating but even with it I still use my other avenues to watch. Not because of ads by the way, because I don't tend to watch live tv, but just because I have everything in one place.

Qwiss I use Stremio usually, but despite having a 500 gbps connection it sometimes happens that a video is buffering or something. Until it's literally as reliable as if I'd pay for a streaming service, I'll always prefer having a downloaded file if I'm watching with someone else.
