No links, 11 hours to go. We're done for the summer. Think our lack of depth (and quality) on the flanks will fuck us over this season.

Yes, our flanks are weak. Only Alexis can be relied upon.

Leicester have done pretty well. Signed Slimani and Musa and they're in for Adrien Silva today as well.

They are ending the window strongly. I am surprised they are not after some defenders because their defensive depth is poor.

I think we're done, but the fraud Dean is hinting at Sturridge.

Here we gooooooo ...

Some excitement at least, even though its probably just banter 🙂

Sturridge?

Bit late in the day to be "considering" a move.

I'd take Sturridge all day.

Signing sturridge would be madness, but not a good madness

Who wouldn't.

Everton signing Brahimi for 35m. Massive deal for them.

He looks like half the player he was to me. Slower, lazier. And then there's his injury record.

I'd take him for a reasonable fee but this is Liverpool we're talking about, they'd want 40m or something ridiculous.

If Sturridge comes for something like £20m max, i guess i could get on board with this, but only if he leaves his stupid dance in Liverpool.

Tweeps say Sturridge/agent desperate for Arsenal. Not sure how keen AFC are.

sturridge looks busted compared to 2-3 years ago tbh. i wouldnt bother, unless we could get him at a heavy discount, like sub 20m

would be a very Wenger move. discount target from one of our rivals. Would beg the question why we have 4 different strikers with varying inadequacies worth 80m pounds, instead of just two super quality strikers worth that much

A single super quality striker would now cost £80mil himself.

We could've had one for 40-50M in last two summers, or 60M even this year, and then you keep a Giroud and you're done. Garnish with some Joel Campbell and you're sitting pretty.

You're talking as if all you have to do is walk into your local Tesco and pick one off the shelf.

Giroud IS a £60m striker this summer.
