Yeah, loaning him out at this stage of his career would be for his benefit, not ours. He's been one of the first names off the bench so we obviously need him.

Why? He probably asked for it. He's not going to get game time here unless we have long term injuries.

You'd have to think it would only be until January to prove his fitness and get first team action every week. If it was for the full season id be worrying about his position in the squad longer term. It would certainly leave us short of a top class option when he's fit.

Would make sense to me, when he first emerged he was exciting and looked to have great potential but he has been unable to stay fit and not transferred that potential into dominant performances consistently enough. Of all our midfield he is towards the bottom for me so wouldn't have been surprised to see him sold. Maybe if this happens he can get some game time and try and get himself back on track football wise. Would be a good thing I reckon.

What do you mean? We're a huge club and Juve are(were) cheap as fuck. We've already loaned them Bendtner and Traore. 😆

A loan would be great for him, but not so much for us I guess.

You have an inflated sense of Jack's current worth. He's played about 2000 minutes in five seasons and the manager has finally prepared for a season where he doesn't depend on him. He's definitely dead last in the rotation of six aenior central midfielders fighting for two places

A loan would be great. It's a massive opportunity to prove that he still has the potential we saw 6 years ago. He should pick a mid-to-lower table team and go be the man. That will be better for us than a player who gets used sparingly. If he went a whole year, for example, he might develop as a logical replacement for Cazorla. He's not going to unseat Cazorka from the bench

Elneny and Coquelin are getting minutes in every match, it'd be utterly ludicrous to loan out a player of Wilshere's ability - even more absurd if it's to a team with as many good players and with as much money as Juventus have. If he gets himself match fit he walks into our team in my opinion.

He's clearly been behind them since end of last year when he got fit again. Look at the discussion in the other thread. Fans have selected four different players as preferred CM starters for Arsenal. None have chosen Wilshere. Clearly, he's lost.

I would not advise Juve, but if they have a gap for him in the inside wide midfield role that Pogba occupied, then it might be worthwhile. He should humble himself and go to a Watford. He needs minutes. Even Big Sam recognizes that. Sam who, btw, has picked bench-ridden Sturridge and Hart.
