We must not sell either Ozil or Sanchez if we are trying to be a serious football club.
They're both going to leave next summer though. I think it'd make more sense to take a big offer for Ozil now, replace with someone like Lemar and move on than to do nothing now, wait till next summer and lose both of Ozil and Sanchez at the same time. Wenger absolutely does not have it in him to replace both of them in one summer. Nevermind both of them, Mert, Ox and realistically at least one of Kos and Monreal. Potentially Bellerin if he kicks up too (a lot more likely if he's benched for Ox). And next summer Ramsey will be entering his final year so that would need to be sorted.
Next summer is going to be a massive mess anyway. Sorting out as much as possible now should be a priority and yet here we are, 2 signings this summer and Wenger saying he doesn't need more because we've too many players.
I can't think of a single bigger mistake the club has made than giving Wenger this new contract. Its going to really fuck us over. This is the first time I've ever thought Wenger is in danger of destroying his own legacy. He may leave the club in a far worse state than he found it.
