I don't like the fighting at half time in a game. If a player is playing shit they know it and if some crap manager or team mate roasts them they just erode any confidence the player has left and they're even worse in the second half.

A bit of fire in training is good. But you can't be shouting at people to give more and then sulk of the rest of training yourself. Thick as a scaffold plank.

Wenger has said that he's not aware of anything. It might be PR talk but it's probably not as big an incident as people are making it out to be.

Alexis has clarified on his instagram. There was fight, but he claimed it is because he loved the club.

I was saying his training ground bust up is nothing bar the fact he walked out of training.

It would be bad if it was at half time in a game. I was contrasting the two but obviously not very clearly.

Gazidis probably engages with the fans more than any CEO out there. He is not the problem.

Once the dinosaur is out of the door, we will start acting like a proper football club again.

We don't need someone to engage with the fans, we need someone who acts like a CEO. Usually they do stuff like fire managers when they're not going anywhere

Wenger needs to go but unless we can find a successor whose ability is clearly ahead of the competition we will feel the weight of having people in charge with no fucking clue soon enough

Try telling that to the fans who fork out thousands each season to support the team. Fan engagement is part and parcel of the job. Many moons ago we used to fire managers based on fan power. A lot has changed since but don't be mistaken, no club survives without fan engagement. That's why Charlton are on the brink of extinction. Wenger has worked himself into a unique situation and diluted the power base at the club. Once he goes we will start operating like a conventional club again and reinstate real power back to the CEO.

I would rather just pay Sanchez the 200-250k. And add more world class players. The club isn't in crisis because of Alexis.

I hardly think inviting fan groups for a pointless chit chat counts as engagement. Or are you happy with him spouting more nonsense about 'we'll compete with Bayern in x years' forever?

He hasn't done a thing on safe standing or other fan based initiatives.

looking at the recent strop he had during a game (which I rater as worse than anything Sanchez has supposedly done), I'd expect Ox to side with Sanchez.
