Na, I read a bit about him last season when we were linked and saw a few pics in articles etc. It was obvious he was 6'2 at least - which I was pleased about because, like Meaty, I didn't want another short arse centreback. I said about the figures around being wrong in his thread last season if I recall.

Regardless, the kid looks good.

He's alright. Chambers looked just as good in his first couple of games if I recall correctly. In fact he was given a lot of praise for his composure and calmness on the ball.

Holding did misplace a few passes in this game, and when a defender scores it's easy to gloss over his flaws, but Overall it was a positive game, and I'd be hoping he can push on strong from here.

Not getting the Chambers comparison. It's not as if he disappointed us consistently with his performance. He started well, and just wasn't given enough chances after that.

chambers is a pussy and a dufus. you can't be both. you can tell he's bitchmade the way he lets ox play him and you all want him to be a central defender at this club that's already overrun with softies?
