Xhaka is another one, had always pretty good performances vs Bayern or Dortmund if I recall correctly. You'd be forgiven for wondering though if we sign bottlers or if we make them

Xhaka is very vocal. I think he'll help whip some of our spineless players into shape.

definitely make them because wenger is the constant and he's the biggest bottler of them all.

In general I think we've started signing more vocal/effective leaders since about 2012. Arteta, Mertesacker, Cech, Sanchez, Cazorla and now Xhaka all fit that mould.

Ornstein confirming our interest in him, no idea if he is actually even any good but he's reporting Chelsea also interested. If he is the one we want then I hope we can wrap it up in the next few days.

I think he was Germany's best defender at the Euros. He looked ready to step up a level, so getting him now could turn out to be a bit of a steal.

Seems a guys ready to step up and is a position we clearly need one if not two guys ready step in. As that is the case we will low ball and walk away and claim "chambers and holding will surprise you". Mustafi then goes on to be a top player and Wenger adds him to the 'we could have signed him' list.

it's possible that wenger signs that bruno peres chap, and makes nacho the back-up cb

can't see him dropping more than 20-25m on a cb when he still believes in the kos, gabriel, mertesacker, chambers quartet. it effectively means the end for one of them
