JazzG you can’t count on Havertz, at best he is very wasteful. Look at the game v Man Utd at home in the cup last Jan when he was missing 5 yard sitter headers. I rather play him in number 8 to rest Rice.
Sicario2 I'd take him every single day of the week over Gyokeres, being wasteful is a bad but being useless is much worse.
At least Chamakh Jr will more often be in the right position to get a strike away. Gyokeres hardly is. Plus the German will help us keep the ball better in advanced locations due to his superior aerial/hold up abilities

I think we could use Harvertz but this reminds me of how Theo was always our saviour with long stints out. There were plenty of issues with him at no 9 as well. Let’s hope Arteta will rotate him and Gyokeres and not run either into the ground like Kai last year.
Imagine being desperate for Havertz to come back when we signed someone who was supposed to be an improvement in goalscoring. I think people forget how weak Havertz was in the shooting and scoring department.
