Yeah, I think where Partey is concerned enough is very much enough. It's absolutely pointless to regard him as a first team pillar and given that he will be on the wages of a first team pillar, it's time to cut bait.

With Tomi, I think he's a rotation option anyway, so you can be a bit more relaxed about him. Especially when you have the full back options we do now - and when Timber is fully restored to the squad, these options will be further augmented.

Tomyiasu is injured after coming back from the Asian Cup, so that means he either managed to get injured in his first training back from there...or he played with an injury there like an idiot. Anyways, I would bin him so fast he wouldn't know what hit him. He is Diaby lvl

I meant generally, as the reference to Timber should have made clear. My point being that we're not reliant on Tomi (good thing! I hear you say) to be our right back - he is our, admittedly seemingly permainjured - rotation option. And when Timber comes back, we will have another one of those.

Obviously, I realise this doesn't help in the now and that we're one injury away from Cedric, which nobody wants. Except Cedric.

I will tell you something, as someone who has missed 2 years of playing football through injury, no footballer wants to be injured. Literally, not a one. Not even Thomas Partey.

There is another tweet which clarifies Timber's fitness, back in training but not fit to play yet.

The news around Jesus is very weird. They keep talking about him being fit but not being able to play much, expecting more injuries, etc I wonder whats up with him, sounds really dodgy. I think we'll definitely be in for a big money striker in the summer now.

The full quote from Arsenal website below. In that context I took it to mean he can start but not sure if he will last whole match...there's also a bit more on the website about the injury being different to the previous 1 and him not requiring surgery, but who knows.

I did feel he was overplayed when returned from injury earlier in the season so hopefully they are just managing the return better this time.

TBF he doesn't play 90 often. Rice, Saka, Saliba, Odegaard have all played double his minutes overall too. He's clearly not able to play regularly for whatever reason.

HomeSteak I don't know about that, but I do think that his lack of availability and, more importantly, goals when he is available are a bit of a problem for Arsenal's number 9 position.

I think he's an incredibly skillful footballer who really helped us lift the level last season, but if Edu isn't looking at alternatives, well, he should be.
