Sicario2 not when our players are idiots. Gabriel is to blame as much as anyone. Tomiasyu used to do this shit all the time and now he has no club. Know you don’t like that as he is your boy but that’s the reality of it.
I get you in a way, I really do, international football is annoying but what can you do? Like others have mentioned, you can't pull your players out for no reason and this isn't the 90s or 2000s where Fergie could do what he wants and get away with it. Nowadays international teams will want their own look over a player before declaring them unfit. Not only that, it's a world cup year, players will play any chance they get.
They see the chance of PL and/or CL, true, but they also see the possibility of winning the WC and for a country like Brazil/France/Spain/England/Germany etc they fancy their chances and don't want to miss out because they weren't available for selection or adjudged to be "jogging" around the pitch in the buildup. Its unfortunate but whay can you do?
It's also less Gabriel being my boy and more players in general. It applies across the board, the better players you have, the more players you'll be missing during international weeks. Or would you rather we were back in 2020 with about only 5 players max being called up? Finally it's also a bit different comparing things to Tomi. Its one thing going on international duty if you have shown to be a regular for your club, and another to be being called up after struggling with injury again and again and again and still going. If we had Jesus, Zinchenko, Calafiori (from last season), Ode (from the last 18 months) or White (since we broke him) constantly going on international duty and returning injured only to get fit around the next international period and go again then it would be annoying.
But even then, what can you do but let them? The solution is to not get injury prone players, which thankfully we don't have many of now, or buy even more players to cover injuries, which we thankfully have now.
My point to you was to just chill a little. You were going off on one late into the night yesterday about this injury on here and then again at 7am.
