JazzG thankfully he has all summer but it means we are starting next season with two central defenders who are ramping up. meanwhile we have 4 fullbacks who are not 100%. might actually be prudent to get a right sided central defender if we have capacity

Timber has soldiered through this season, hope this isn't too bad and there is a quick recovery. He probably needs a good rest this preseason.

Don't laugh but I do wonder if we need to sign another RB. A youngster who's happy to bide his time. White and Timber have suffered big injuries and so much is demanded of them.

What's the typical recovery time for something like this (order of magnitude)? 3 months / 6 months / 12?

I would expect White is fully recovered at this point (and will certainly be fully recovered by Pre-season). I would also expect that Timber will not be out for 3 months. He will have the procedure, and it should be 2 months tops before he's in training. Just in time for later pre-season. Don't think we really need to be signing any full backs. We have MLS and Cala (who is fit again, at least in theory). Plus our CB's (assuming Gabriel is ready by preseaon, and Saliba's hammy will be fine by then). I am not worried about what is happening in May unless it affects what happens in late July or early August.

USArsenal we def need at least one more defender since we are losing Tierney and Zinny (I don’t rely on that Japanese guy).

Cala is injury prone so he got to assume he will miss a chunk of games and Gab and Timber will be coming back post surgery.

A full back over who can play CB ideally is needed.

If Kiwoir leaves we need 2 defenders.

If Kiwi leaves, then definitely.. I would agree that Tomi is not in our plans, and if he gets healthy, it would be a bonus. But we didnt exactly rely on Tierney or Zin too much this season. I would say that our top priorities lie elsewhere, but if we can squeeze a defender in also, that's ok too.

Do we think Gabriel, Timber and Gyokores will be fully fit for the new season? All will get just 2/3 weeks of training, pre-season before it all kicks off.
