Can anyone give us an in-depth insight into his style of play?

Really can't tell from YouTube at all. Never seen him play a game.

Pure goalscorer. Doesn't do much holdup or linkup play, doesn't dribble. He needs others to create chances for him, but he's got proper natural instinct in front of goal. He's an archetypical box player with good touch and technique, which is cool because that type of striker isn't really around any longer. He seems unfazed no matter who he's up against too which would be a nice change from the current Arsenal where most players have a panic attack at the mere sight of a defender.

He wouldn't be my first choice but I'd take him ahead of Lukaku and Lacazette and the other halfwits we've been linked to recently.

Ah, so the reason why YouTube comps don't show him doing anything other than scoring is because that's actually all he does.

That's a good summary. Used to rate him highly when he was in Sampdoria but hasn't set the world alight at Inter.

He was top scorer in Serie A season before last while playing for Inter to be fair. I didn't used to rate him much but I've been warming up to the thought of signing someone like him lately.

I'd be well annoyed if we opted for Icardi over Morata when they're both quoted to cost around €50-60 million though.

Sky Italy now saying the sane thing. Arsenal will meet with his people ...

hes a scummy piece of shit. dont want players like him at arsenal

why? cos he pulled a John Terry? survival of the fittest, son.

He's a scummy piece of shit and I could never actually like this guy.

Fuck that its not like he just shagged her. Bloke went and married her.

I'm going to have to wait and see how many goals he scores before I decide if he's a scumbag.

I thought Maxi Lopez was having an affair or something and she started seeing Icardi, who took care of the kids and shit while Lopez was stepping out.

I like the idea of adding another captain. We've been mentally soft for years. Xhaka should help that.

I think he would be a good alternative here, especially with Ozil feeding him through. I feel that the other parts of his game are underrated since Inter does not provide him with enough service and usually plays defensively. His goals/shots ratio is one (if not the) highest in Serie A and he was the youngest top scorer in Serie A since 1978.

It's a little risky though because his wife is now his agent. She has also begged for a new Inter contract despite him having a down year last year. She even leaked out that Juventus were prepared to offer 50m euros for him. I'm sure Inter would gladly to sell to us rather than Napoli (who wants to have a Higuain replacement) or Juventus.

Coombs' story is the story that Wanda/Icardi have used to describe what happened.
