Still think he can come good. Just needs focus, ability is there. I think so anyway.

Most defenders opt for the safe sideways pass but there are positives in his high risk/high reward forward passing.
It is an effective deterrent against an aggressive high press but, of course, he needs to be quicker and sharper with pass.
I know he has been terrible since his injury but i saw enough of a good player in his first 6 months to not give up hope.

Yeah, I don't mind the pass. It's the tackle that makes me cringe, he's far too rash and needs to stop going to ground out of desperation.

I hate his passing. It's outrageous how many times he gives it away and exposes us to a counter-attack.

I see some good points in his game but he plays like he's as thick as a plank most of the time. I don't see it turning around any time soon.

Obviously his passing is very hit and miss because he takes a lot of risk, but I don't give a shit about it. Main gripe with him is his defending and positioning, truly awful on the latter. As the 4th most expensive defender in the world you will really expect more. Good passer or not is just a bonus to me for a defender.

There are some stuffs in his game that we can't change, but hopefully his concentration and decision making can improve because in a 3 man defence I can still see a future for him here.

Aye, looking for excellent passing ability in defenders is a bit like demanding it from goalkeepers: it's about ideology much more than practicality. I used to think it was important, but what really matters is that they're technically good enough to stay calm when they are put under pressure. Koscielny and Monreal are miles ahead of any other defenders or midfielders we have in that respect. It's one of the reasons both of them should be automatic starters in a three-man defence.

Confidence is gone and he looks as jittery as Gabriel.
PS don't panic at 39 secs, it's just the Aussie keeper.

Why is a recently-injured Sanchez featuring in this meaningless game? Crazy behavior by the player. I wonder how long his career will last given his lack of self-preservation.

Up to him if he has an extended career or not due to a lack of rest but we need to do everything we can to make sure we keep him at any cost necessary. The guy is another class.

Foolishness. Same issue essentially destroyed Wilshere. Sanchez is super durable but no one's un breakable.

The lack of cash in general has done wonders for the Spanish talents. Their squad has tons of league experience compared to say the English squad with mostly players from lower league experiences.

And every team in europe take the youth tournaments seriously other than England. If Rashford was Spanish or Italian he will be playing in this tournament.
